The Place: Shalhoobs -

Shalhoobs is our go-to destination for an exceptional happy hour experience. Nestled in the heart of Santa Barbara’s Funk Zone, you will enjoy delectable dishes and refreshing drinks while soaking up the vibrant atmosphere. So gather your friends, head over to Shalhoobs, and toast to an unforgettable happy hour in the heart of Santa Barbara. Cheers!

The Deals: Shalhoobs’ happy hour boasts $5 house beer and wine, which are perfect complements to any of their delicious food items. All of their “snacks” are half off, including wings ($6.75), nachos ($6.50), mac 'n' cheese ($6.50), and more! If you are craving something a little more substantial, their combo deal is hard to beat: snag a sandwich or burger and a beer for just $15! Why are you still reading this? Get over there already!

The Place: Playa Azul Cafe -

For decades, La Playa Azul Cafe has been serving up killer margaritas and authentic flavors that'll have your taste buds doing the tango. For grub, they’re serving up fresh Mexican classics that'll make your taste buds and your wallet jump for joy. Embrace SB’s easy-breezy lifestyle and pop on by for your next happy hour excursion!

The Deals: From house margaritas ($8) to traditional favorites like rajas con queso ($9), Playa Azul’s happy hour has something for everyone. You can’t go wrong pairing nachos ($8.50) with a hibiscus flower margarita ($11) or soft tacos ($9) with a delectable habanero mango margarita ($10.50). No matter which delicious pairing you choose - be sure to come hungry!

The Hours: Tuesday - Sunday: 3 pm to 6 pm


The Place: Santa Barbara FisHouse -

Santa Barbara FisHouse is a classic, a must-visit spot for everyone from locals to tourists, and their happy hour leaves nothing to be desired. This casual restaurant offers a cozy and laid-back atmosphere, perfect for relaxing after a long day, watching the game, or catching up with friends. Any local worth their salt was crushed when Enterprise Fish Co. closed their doors a few years back, but thankfully, FisHouse has upped their game in recent years, curating a happy hour menu that would have given Enterprise a run for its money!

The Deals: During happy hour, SB FisHouse offers a plethora of food and drinks that are sure to please. The menu includes some of their most popular dishes, like their creamy clam chowder ($12), fresh rockfish ceviche ($9), and delicious fish tacos ($13). We also can’t get enough of their calamari, which is perfectly fried and served with a tangy dipping sauce ($9). But of course, don’t forget the alcohol! Santa Barbara FisHouse also offers a great selection of cocktails, wine, and beer at discounted prices during happy hour.
